the virginia defenders 15u boys basketball team has had a very successful summer. this team has only been together for this one season and they have won the USJN(junior national championship), the Super Regionals 15 championship, the Super regional 16u placed third and they are ranked 2nd in the state of Virginia. they lost in the championship game in Richmond. the Virginia Defenders have qualified for the National Championship in Clarksville, TN July 10th-17th. these young men have played great all summer and i expect big things from them in the nationals. the team consist of

I would thing maybe 1 or 2 will make Boo's travel team.....

their record was 5-2 and they beat The kentucky Truth, which was predicted to win the Nationals. the defenders lost to Memphis Hawgs in the quarter finals. These young men played some great basketball in Clarksville and they represented the state of virginia very well. I am looking forward to watching these guys next year and if some of them make the traveling team(GREAT!!) for those who do not, it does not matter they can still have another successful aau team. My opinion the best 15u team from the state of Virginia

congrats to the 15u va. defenders, you all played great in the team camp at va. wesalyn. you all created a big buzz at the camp and you all got a lot of respect from other teams(GREAT JOB!!!) defenders you played hard and together and i respect that, continue to work hard, because you all will have bright basketball futures.
