Beach District Finals

If anyone is interested, at the top of the third inning, Kellam is leading Salem 1-0. Kellam led off the second with a hit up the middle for a single. Sac bunt moved the runner to second, wild pitch moved the runner to third, and a passed ball scored the run. Seems Salem ace, Kendra Knight is strugging today.

The one run held up as Kellam defeats Salem 1-0 in the Beach District championship game. Salem pitcher, Kendra Knight was uncharacteristically wild early on but settled down to where Kellam was just attemping bunts to get on base. Salem threatened in the fourth with two hits but failed to score the tying run. Both teams go the Eastern Region tournament where I hope to see you there.
