Does anyone know who are some of the standouts in the PD on the other side of the ball? The "DEFENSE" side...

And from an unbiased observer, Romero from PHS and Cogdell and Bellamy from HHS are the best three I have seen all year.

I haven't seen Woodside play except in our game, but their QB "Lewis" was very active on Defense as well making several game saving TD's. I'm not sure I'd have my QB playing on Defense, maybe a "bigger" running back! However this young man was able to do it and do it well.

I agree to an extent. But Donnell was a full time/lock down db last year for us as the 2nd string qb. So it's only expected he would be out there playing double duty. We did the same thing last year with Evans, he went both ways most of the time also. I'm really curious to see who would be considered player of the year. With the impact Donnell has made on both sides of the ball, I don't see how he doesn't win player of the year if Woodside goes 8-2.

From the K-Tan Warriors I would have to say:
Xavier Eley, Shawn Fauntleroy, Terrance Ricks, Richie Staton, & Justin Washington(when healthy)

Aaron RARELY played defense maybe he averaged 1.6 plays per game lol Donnell however has been putting up great offensive stats as well as defensive he really could be considered when POY comes up

Disagree about Evans 100%. But we are on the same page with Lewis.

Caleb Taylor and Boom Box Lyles of Phoebus are the best LB duo in the district but they've not been named yet.

And when did Aaron Evans ever play defense?

Top defensive player. should be someone who plays that defensive more than once or twice.

I dont know if people want to believe it but #24 for Bethel has tro be the best DB...he had 2 fumble recoveries for touchdowns against KHS...A pick 6 against DHS. Almost ran back an interception against woodside.. he returns kicks has a couple of pass deflections and some tackles for loss.

Aren't you talking about Dominique McBride? He's #21 I thought

ill take Donnell Lewis any day he averages anywhere between 5-8 tackles a game on top of 3 picks 2 taken back for TD's do i even need to mention his pass deflictions and lockdown ability?
