I had this forwarded to me this morning:
Hampton Channel 48 did record the HHS-Lake Taylor game last Friday night and will be showing it as follows:
Wednesday, November 17th @ 7:30 AM and 7:30 PM
Thursday, November 18th @ 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM
Friday, November 19th @ 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
The HHS game this coming Friday also will be taped and shown next week, although a schedule of showings is not yet set. Channel 48 also will be broadcasting the Phoebus-Great Bridge game live on Friday night.

Good the game will be live! You don't know how happy that made my mom with my brother being sick she can stay home and watch it and not rely on someone's delayed text messages

I want to thank the Hampton station for broadcasting the games this year, and I really appreciate them taping the Hampton games during the first two weeks of playoffs. It is a shame that the Eastern Region will not allow Phoebus and Hampton to play on different days so that local fans can watch both games live.

There may be a dilemma there. How is the Friday Hampton/LT replay going to be broadcasting @ 6pm if LCS is also broadcasting the Phoebus/Great Bridge game live on Friday?

Because a replay game at 6 will be over by 7... no comercials, time-outs... 1/2 time etc.. 7pm game should start on time without interruptions.

There is no way that replay will be over by 7. I understand no commercials because LCS rarely ever have any commercials anyway. They usually don't show the halftime until after the game unless its a live broadcast. The only way they can broadcast a replay within an hour is if they use a scout taping, which means instant plays with no huddle and even then that's a stretch in one hour.

Remember, too, the Phoebus game doesn't start until 7:30, not 7. So 90 minutes ... edit out halftimes, time outs, between quarters, tight but doable.

They usually have a pregame before the game starts though...is there a way you could ask LSC our concerns?

Yeah, maybe. I'm watching the game on LSC now and the game is going by pretty fast.
