Hey Marty---you say that either Tabb or Lafayette will be the 8th seed for D-4, but then say that Jamestown with their loss is the 8 seed for D-4. So, is Jamestown the 7 seed or is Tabb/Lafayette the 7? Thanks!

Good catch. Jamestown is No. 7 (and cannot go higher) as we talk now. But if either Lafayette or Tabb win on Thursday, that team will move ahead of the Eagles in seeding, and Jamestown will drop to No. 8.
In fact, if both won on Thursday (unlikely but possible) I think Jamestown is out of the regionals altogether.
I'll reword the blog.

Oh-one other quick question---so Caroline was second in the Battlefield, Eastern View third. But, Eastern View beat Caroline in their tournament semifinal last night. Is Caroline still in line to be the three seed? Or is Eastern View in position for that?

If Eastern View loses to Courtland in the final as expected, and Caroline wins the third-place game, Caroline is still the No. 3 seed.
If Eastern View loses to Courtland and Caroline loses the third-place game they are tied at 22 points apiece. Caroline with 16 for second regular season plus 6 for fourth in tournament, and EV with 12 for third regular season and 10 for runnerup tournament.
In that case, I'm pretty sure third goes to whomever leads their season head-to-head series.
