Smithfield 4 - Poquoson 2

Overall great game by both sides. Maggie Tyler is still the amazing pitcher I remember from last year that's for sure. Both sides kept fighting until the end but the Packers pulled through. Kuddos to the entire Packers team and to their pitcher. To hold an excellent hitting Poquoson team to only 2 runs is quite impressive. Any comments ?

It was a great game and not to take anything away from the Packers but Poquoson is just not the same as years past. They have Maggie Tyler who is awesome but the Packers were able to hit her all day long. Key hits came at the right time and they were able to captialize on those hits. Its been a long day coming for the Packers - congrats!!!

It was a great game overall yes. And to take nothing away from the extremely dangerous Islanders but they were not what they usually are. Maggie pitched a great game and it didn't seem as if the 3 feet mound change had affected her velocity at all. Packers should get a little respect in the BRD after this win. All I know is, is that when Smithfield arrives at Poquoson for the next showdown, Poquoson is going to be out for some blood.

This season is going to be very interesting. Quite a shake up from years past.
