There are three, possibly four players who are currently being recruited as D-1 prospects, it would be premature to say who at this time. Two pitchers from last year, one utility player and another who didn't play on the team. At least three, possibly four. More to follow before the season starts, signing begins November 1st. I also am interested on who the D1 Prospects are? I see atleast 9 Maybe 10 Seniors on the team.

At least everyone agrees on last place. How many players did Tabb lose to have them dropping so far? It would seem that Lafayette has lost even more.

Didn't they lose their coach? I'm pretty sure Bagget retired after 27 years. They were struggling last year with a pretty good pitching staff, with both Lyons and Corbett, who both are gone. Corbett now at Coastal Carolina and Lyons at Liberty.

This may be the first time since Southampton left the district that anyone predicted a team other than Bruton in last place. It may be that Bruton starts to turn a corner this year, though it is a steep hill to climb. They are good kids and deserve a turnaround after several difficult years.

So are we saying this should be Graftons Year?

Okay so we know york and grafton will be good, they always are but what about the other teams that have been there in the past couple of seasons. Such as Jamestown,Warhill, and Tabb. Jamestown has great pitching with Majette and Smith and good bats with Ambler and Geiling. Warhill has returned West,Diven, Critteden, Richardson, and Amory not to mention they got Wills from bruton. Even though they lost Otey and Gill they will contend. And yes tabb did lose Corbett and Lyons but they have plenty of talent to fill out the team from the young guys such as Phifer,Page,Arthur, and Zimmerman but they also have good veterans like Norris, Buffkin, and Hickman their new transfer from warhill. They all played varsity last year and have experience. So in my opinion tabb is a darkhorse and can shock alot of people. The whole district is up for grabs this year don't count any one team out

With good pitching Grafton will be very good this year and hope it is the year for them. They will put up runs and the defense will be solid. However as always there will be some other teams in the mix as well.
