I just saw the Cox highlights on youtube. I must be honest, that that was excellent coverage on Deloatch by Mike Tyson, HOWEVER, (and I stated this on youtube as well) Tyson committed the cardinal sin of not turning his head to play the ball. Anytime there is contact and the defender doesn't turn his head, he will get that call 10 times outta 10. Actually that was a very easy call by the refs. That's one of the first things refs look for when calling that penalty.

you are correct that was excellent coverage on that play but like you said that call will be made 9 times out of 10...the call that was missed was actually in 3rd quarter when deloatch wouldve had another td but tyson held his arms down and nothing was called

Not only did he not turn around but dude made contact before the ball got there...why are people calling this questionable? 100% of the people calling that interference call questionable are affiliated with Lake Taylor. Call was so obvious.

This is why it was called. Not a questionable interference call. Tyson could not cover on that pass. What was questionable was why were the refs holding the play up for over a minute while the clock was still running.

True, Lake Taylor could've definitely had an argument on that because that actually helped us at the end.

It hurt us too. We had to go hurry up because of that minute we lost
