Lutz struck out six for Post 75, which overcame a 2-1 deficit with a three-run fourth. Justin Belvin scored twice for the hosts.

WARWICK POST 255 11, WILLIAMSBURG POST 39 5

I'm told Yorktown was missing a lot of guys tonight, and you could definitely tell these teams had been on hiatus for a week. Smithfield adjusted better, however, had seven hitting standouts and, though Smithfield capitalized on four Yorktown errors, those errors proved almost non-issues as Smithfield's hot bats turned unearned runs into earned runs; all but one of their runs was earned when the dust cleared.

Another solid defensive effort by the 49ers as well; only one error, and second baseman Cole Irvine had two gold glove catches on dribbling line drives in shallow right.
