JHS participated in the UVA 7 on 7 passing camp last Sat and represented the BRD well. They went 5-2 and were an extra point away from going to the championship game at Scott Stadium. The winner of their bracket, Franklin County (D6), suffered their only loss to JHS. JHS lost to Gar-field (D6) of N.VA in a close game and some other team in OT by an extra point. Overall, it was a good showing for the Eagles. :)

A couple of the other teams in the bracket included Albermarle and Monticello. There were several teams there without any markings, so I have no idea who they were. There were a couple teams with gold helmets and white jerseys/dark blue numbers, one with Caroline blue helmets, and another with Navy blue helmets, and Navy blue/gold jerseys....

If anyone else knows the other teams that they played, please feel free to let me know!

I believe one of the teams in our bracket were Western Branch but we didn't play them.

I still think that we should of played at Scott Stadium because we won that 2nd game verse Monticello.

Was that Monticello you guys played the OT game with (with the gold helmets and the QB was #18)? That OT game was the 4th game. I missed the first two, saw the next four games, and missed the last one.

I am guessing Western Branch was the team with the Navy Blue helmets since their colors are blue and gold. One of their tailbacks (#20) was a beast.

Think you might have missed the topic. They are talking about the UVA 7 on 7, not the HU 7 on 7.
