where is new kent in this?
they should be in the top 6 atleast
having been a district contender for the last few years
even with the loss of handler and hillard
they return some very strong young wrestlers
and the coaches are sum of the best in the district

New Kent should do well this year, think they will make a run on the district tittle. Went down to UNC this summer and preformed very well, surprized even the coaches. They will defeinetly be in the top half this year.

How many years has Strickland been at Poquoson?

This is his second year as high school coach and has again attracted a number of high quality assistant coaches. He just finished his first year as head coach for the Peninsula Wrestling Association (AKA Virginia Duals Wrestling Club), which is a freestyle wrestling program that runs most of the year during the off season.

What other schools were at the match Wednesday aside from York and Poquoson? Any results that were unexpected?

Tuesday New Kent beat Tabb, Smithfield and Southampton. That should move them up in the district. I think that New Kent will turn a lot of head this year, may not win district but could be number 2. Went and watch them at there duels and they won, also heard they had a good showing at the fort.

January 19. New Kent, Grafton, Poquoson and Jtown all square off. Winner of that should be your district champ. NK and Poqouson match should be a great one, might come down to the heavyweights for the district tittle.

New Kent has a very good line up this year. I think like you do. Jamestown should not be a problem. Poq. will be the one to beat. Tabb was not happy to lose to nk. Nk has a good line up from 103 to 152, then 171 emmons and 215 taylor, hwy kyle should be ok now that he is back and stays health. I wish then all the best..

NK is good this year and it was great to be on bench to beat Tabb. Kyle should be okay he has been pushed in practice to get back in shape. He will be going to Maryland to wrestle next weekend. Emmons has done very well this year also so if the poq match comes to him look for him to step up big. The poq match will be great cant wait till Jan. 19:)

Poqouson match should be a great one but my schedule also shows Lafayette is there on the 19th. Can't look past them as they have come out the gate strong this year as well. Kyle's good, knee is fine and you guys are trying to kill him in practice (LOL) so he will be ready to go. What about Grafton, havn't really heard anything on them. They doing anything this year?

Missed that Lafayette was on the schedule. No doubt who ever walks out the 19th with the win will own district. Glad to see Kyle's knee is ok and he is back to normal. Got to ask NKD, what do you feed that boy! **** he gets bigger everytime I see him. Whats he up to now 280/285? Hate to see your grocery bill! :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Why would Tabb be in the top six? They have Andrew Williams, no one else at all.

NewKentFTW, please look at the dates on these posts before u respond to them. you would notice that you are the first person to post on this topic since Dec 2007. there is no point in commenting on this post. those predictions are for last year. and last year Tabb had more than just andrew williams. and this year tabb still has more than andrew williams. tabb is always one of the teams to beat because they have good coaching. check your dates next time.

i think it would be good for HRvarsity to delete topics that have not been posted on in say over 8 months or something. it would avoid this sort of thing where people post a comment about something that is not even relevent anymore.
