HAMPTON - Bethel, Gloucester and Warwick each shot 308s Thursday to share first place in a Peninsula District match at The Woodlands.

Bethel's Josh Porter and Kecoughtan's Joseph Evans shared the medal with 65s in the district's second of 10 regular-season rounds.

Menchville retained a 12-shot overall lead after two rounds, with Gloucester second.


The Monarchs, led by Hunter Lewis' 68, and Kecoughtan tied for fourth place at 310, well ahead of the other five teams.

The district golfers return to competition at 1 p.m. Monday at Ford's Colony.
