The Sun Devils rushed for over 340 yards -- 188 of which came from senior running back Kevin Whaley -- against a Landstown defense last weekend that featured some pretty good athletes, so expect large numbers Thursday night against an undersized Princess Anne defense. And although Salem's defense allowed 22 points and 119 receiving yards to Xavier Boyce, that was against -- again -- some pretty good athletes with some size and speed. Princess Anne is small up front and first-year coach Juan Jackson is still trying to build a new mindset with the Cavaliers.

I realize I didn't expect Green Run to be Tallwood last week -- yet the Stallions did it -- but I really don't see Princess Anne winning this game. Whaley might not get the South Hampton Roads rushing record -- he needs 278 yards to tie -- but he will get a lot closer. Look for Tyrek Boone, who rushed for 124 and two scores against the Eagles, to have a big game as well.
