Quarterback Josh Healey was a part of all 35 of Greenbrier Christian’s points in Hampton. Healey rushed for two touchdowns, passed for three more and kicked all of the extra points for the Gators.
Healey opened up the scoring in a 21-point first half with a 9-yard pass to Jeffrey Estinne in the first quarter. He followed with a 10-yard run in the second and a 45-yard throw to Michael Johnson, who caught two touchdown passes.
Healey hit Johnson on a 27-yard pass in the third quarter and concluded the scoring with a 1-yard run in the fourth. Healey finished with 115 passing yards on five completions.
Hampton Christian committed five turnovers and never generated much offense, finishing with 2 yards passing and 67 yards on 28 carries. The Warriors’ only scoring threat came in the second quarter after Scott Bellamy, who finished with five tackles and one assist, recovered a fumble on Greenbrier’s 30. The Warriors advanced the ball to the 23 before fumbling.
Brent Ausink had five tackles and four assists, and Josh Phillips had five tackles and two assists for Hampton Christian.
