Lynn,
Do defensive scoring stats take into account special teams scores, or turnovers for touchdowns?
Similarly, do offensive stats reflect the special teams scoring or only those touchdowns that were made strictly when a team scores an offensive touchdowns.
Also, does Downing really have 9 tds?

9 TDs, no. Probably a typo on the *****'s part who entered the stats. That would be me. I will check.
On the defensive side, the points per game average are the total points a team gives up. Winning 12-0 and winning 24-12 would be a 6.0 scoring average against.

yeah haha...i thought that looked a little skewed this morning when it said downing had 9 touchdowns but wasent even in the top 20 in scoring
It apears tha the total defense stat does not account for anything other than points allowed. However, there are teams who have given up points as a result of interceptions returned for scores and special teams scoring. It is not as accurate as it could be.

I think you missed TDs by Mel Jones, Tabb...I know he has scored at least 1 TD in the first two games.
