Donzell Shearin ran for three touchdowns as Franklin (2-0) won the neighborhood non-district rivalry, beating Southampton 31-13 Friday night at Armory Field in Franklin.

Shearin threw two interceptions but more than atoned for them by rushing for 106 yards on 10 carries. The Broncos never fumbled and recovered all three of Southamptonís fumbles.

The Broncos intercepted Sidney Rawls twice and limited him to 23 yards on 11 carries, though he threw a touchdown pass to Taylor Revelle. Marcus Inmanís subsequent PAT put Southampton ahead 7-6 with 1:52 left in the first quarter, but Shearinís second TD run with 4:22 left in the first half put Franklin ahead to stay.

Alonzo Holeman had 12 carries for 82 yards for the Indians (0-2), including the gameís last touchdown.
