This annual Boo Williams Invitational tournament is upon us, which means all of the AAU junkies and spectators can see the NBA's next big stars before the million dollar endorsements.

The tournament starts next Fri. evening and the scedule hasn't been released yet, but check back here for all of your news, stories, video highlights, interviews and fun facts about this year's tournament.

Right now we know that Michael Jordan's kid Marcus is gonna be in the house. I've seen him play, he's better than MJ's son Jeff who came last year. Both are lefty's, but Marcus, rated No. 34 in the class of 2009, wears these bifocal goggles which should make him easy to spot. :D

 No word yet on if pops is gonna attend like he did last year. Let's just hope that if he does, he's a bit more cordial, eh?

Oh and I just got off of the line with Tyreke Evans', rated No. 2 in the class of 2008, uncle Reggie. He said they "wouldn't miss Boo's tournament for anything." Reke is a monster and is definitely worth the admission, which I believe will be $10 per game or $15 for a weekend pass. (A BARGAIN for what you're gonna be able to see!)

Reke usually gives you this reaction :jaw: at least once per game... No kidding.

NCAA won't let the college coaches come to this tournament so you won't have to worry about that circus.

We want you guys to post who you saw and your impressions of them on this thread too.

So as you hear things post away.

I'll update this daily, more than likely.

Just met with Boo Williams (His phone is like a never ending soundtrack), and he told me all of the top players that are going to be attending.

They've got nearly the entire top 10 of 2008 coming and three of the top five in 2009. It's going to be one of the better tournaments in the last few years.

These players are on the wish lists of every ACC school and most schools nationally. In addition to Tyreke Evans, Greg Monroe, top rated player in 08 class, will be here. As will Samardo Samuels, Delvon Roe, Al-Farouq Aminu, DeMarcus Cousins, Ed Davis and Lance Stephenson... All are potential lottery picks in the NBA in a few years.

We'll have stories starting Thur. of next week (April 5).

Check back here for all of your news, stories, video highlights, interviews and fun facts about this year's tournament.
