The raiders trailed the Woodside Wolverines 4--1 heading into the bottom half of the 7th inning. After a ground out to start the inning. Sam Houser stroked a shot over the left fielf fence for his fist home run of the season. Cutting the Wolverines lead down to 4-2. Another out then the fireworks really started. Ben Engle and Clint Cruseburg singled to put runners on the corners. Adam Pratt hit the second pitch over the left field fence for a 3 run homer to lead the Raders to victory, 5-4. Freshman Jason Ellington pitches a complete game for the victory. The Raders improve to 2-2 heading into the spring break.

Warwick won but kudos to Woodside starting pitcher 9th grader Matt Zapp he tired in the 7th {where was the relief} he will be a good one also Ellington the Warwick pitcher is a good young pitcher. woodside is underachieving, players need to step up.

I played with Ellington on an AAU team. I'm glad to see him doing so well, he's a good guy and deserves it.
