I have a Question, If they call Pass Interferece on the Goal line and then Give the Team a Touch Down, Do they Still Mark Off the 15 Yards on the Kick Off. My Thought was You Either Take the Touch Down Or The Penalty, Or Do you Get Both?

I thought that was really strange also. I have never seen a pass interference call that resulted in a touchdown, then get marked off on the kick-off. Made no sense to me.

New rule for 2007:
8-2-2: When there is a foul by the opponent of the team scoring a touchdown, an enforcement option has been added. The offended team can accept the result of the play; choose to have the penalty enforced on the try; or choose to have the penalty enforcement on the free kick.
I've read this a few times now and I'm not sure what it says. My guess is you can take the play only (Refuse the penalty), or take the touchdown and your choice of enforcing the penalties (on the try or on the free kick).
