STORY: Tabb wins district crown in cheerleading

Tabb won the Bay Rivers championship meet Wednesday in Poquoson’s gym.

The Tigers, who also won all three regular-season BRD meets, were followed by Jamestown, Poquoson and Lafayette. All of those teams will advance to Wednesday’s Region I competition at 6 p.m. at Lafayette.

According to people who attended the meet, Tabb excelled in tumbling to outperform its competition. Jamestown completed a clean three-minute routine to gain the runner-up spot.

First of all, Thanks for the remarks. As a reminder Tabb (Bay Rivers District Champions) Jamestown, Poquoson, and Lafayette will be competing in regional competition at Lafayette High School at 6:00 PM on October 30, 2007. Hope the Daily Press can be there to do a report on the hard work of the ladies from all schools in the Bay Rivers District that have been working so hard over the past four months. Good luck to all the teams in pursuing the next round of competition. Go Tigers!
