Tabb cheers to region crown

Just as it won the Bay Rivers District crown last week, Tabb took the Region I cheerleading championship Wednesday night.

The Tigers performed a routine scoring 283 ½ points and were followed by Poquoson (256), host Lafayette (245) and Caroline (242). Those teams will advance to the state competition Nov. 10 in Virginia Commonwealth University’s Siegel Center.

Tabb is coached by Shelley Pagan and Shelley Neale.

The team members are: Lindsey Arthur, Emily Cowan, Chelsea Feller, Madison Franks, Emilee Geer, Bethany Gomez, Courtney Guy, Hilary Huff, Lindsey Kent, Ashley Laney, Kristy Pate, Taylor Pate, Kelly Regas, Megan Russell, Sarah Serio, Audrey Smith, Angel Tirado, Crystal Trace, Alicia Urquhart, Alivia Urquhart, Lisa Wallace, Brittany Wilson and Nicole Wise.

this thread was posted after last seasons regionals. the stats are correct, for last season. lol. there has not been a story posted for this years cheerleading post season. i think that the Daily Press should have covered the cheering better, considering that 3 teams from the Bay Rivers made it to states (and Tabb placed in the top 5), as well as a few Peninsula district teams made it to states. check the dates on the storys before you question the credibility of the stats. lol.

yes NKHS2009 i know that ur states for this year are correct. i was there for it. the thing about checking the dates before u credit credibility was directed towards NewKentFTW. and there is no need to b naming names on here ha
