Despite not speaking the language, I'm going to take a stab at comprehending what this guy just said...
First things first... Tabbfan does not represent anybody from tabb and is most likely a middle school kid or mentally ill because nobody in thier right mind in high school would be that dumb. So please just click his name and ignore, that goes out to everybody, that way nobody will see what he says. I must say he is making the tabb people very angry all over this site, as well as everybody else.

We all know, except that dumbass, that hampton is way better than tabb... just ignore tabbfan and please don't get angry at tabb, only tabbfan.

 You only beat him once, he won the other two. There is video to prove it. Also, since crabbypatties are in the PD and the Mighty Rams are in the BRD, you don't mean a hill of beans- I mean crab shells:lol:

ok just wonderin... capthawk.. wat r u doin posting in the Bay Rivers District message board?? if i put it all together right, ur from Hampton high skool (hence the red and white "krabba pride", and by reading ur other posts). just for ur info, u would hav no input, as in knocking marley out of the state turnament, due to the fact that u would not wrestle him in the post season. this is because, and u obviously hav not noticed this yet, but Hampton is AAA and Lafayette is AA. so even if u claim ur superiority over marley (ur 3-0 record), u wouldnt stand in his way of becoming a state champion anyways. also the two other wrestlers that u said he would hav to go through also r in AAA. so they would hav no input either. get ur facts straight and quit comin in here with ur cussing and crap trying to stur up trouble on the bay rivers message board. keep that stuff in the peninsula district boards.

as for my input on this topic... i dont believe that marley will b able to win states. with the defending champion back (who beat handler- who always beat marley). as for the other weights i dont kno, never really kept up with them lol. new kent has sum good wrestlers. but poquoson has the best chance to get sum champions im sure. they seem to hav that always. also i am interested to see who will become the first 215 to win states in 4 yrs not named gardner lol. only time will tell. good luck to all

capthawk....if this claim is true, "he never came close to beating me our 1st match went to triple ot and i won on a stand up 2-1...the second i beat him 5-1 im pretty sure and the last was triple ot again and i won 3-1 so don't try it". i believe that a triple overtime match is considered pretty close. and u dont sound to confident about these facts. also if ur claim that u only lost 6 matches last year is true, then u must hav choked at regionals because i do not see ur name on the state tournament bracket from last year??

I believe Marley beat you at the Ram Rumble. I have heard the state champ hwt from Brookville blew his knee out in football this fall. I believe he will not be wrestling this season.

getting back to the real subject of this thread,
here are my predictions for state champs

Williams-Tabb
Ennis-Grafton
Marshall-Poq
Bresnan-Tabb
McAdams-Poq
Sweany-Lafayette
Pearson-Grafton

these are only people from the BRD that i think have a shot at a title.

Some really easy picks based on last years results but you may want to go to Poquoson's first home match on 19 December because that could cause you to notice a few diamonds in the rough who have improved enough during the off-season for you to pick them as favorites to win the State Tournament this year. These boys even have a couple months to get better after you see them against Warhill and York, so it should get interesting.

i may be wrong but i dont believe AA and AAA have anything to do with wrestling maybe in the post season but i know at the Ram Rumble there was AAA schools wrestling lafayette a AA school but if my input counts i think the guy from hampton would take it over lafayettes HW

I will agree that there are some diamonds in the rough at all schools in the BRD but i got most of my perdictions from what they did last year at the state tournament and who is returning in that weight class for this year. Anything can happen like changing weight classes or wrestling a really good or bad state tournament but based on how i think the tournament will unfold, that is my list and im more than possostive that not all these people will walk away satisfied.
Good luck to all BRD wresters.

It doesn’t matter what classification you are in at tournaments; they just mix it up. Cheer…You have some pretty solid picks to win State this year, but I think that you are underestimating the BRD. It is still too early in the season to tell, but I’m fairly confident that the BRD will do better this year than last year and the size of your list could double by the end of the season. Also, I agree that anyone who watches Poquoson this year will see that they have more than two kids with the potential to go all the way. I think that people saw during Football season that they have an outstanding group of athletics this year, so I wouldn’t suggest putting it past them to over achieve in wrestling this season. We’ll see and nice job of starting some positive wrestling conversation about the BRD.

I believe Austin Gainor from Tabb has a legitimate chance of winning states. He's really been working out in the weight room, and he's got speed and agility that can be matched by no one. He also rocks sleeveless shirts quite well.

Poquoson will be extremely tough from 103 to 171. As far as state champions are concerned; we'll have to see what happens with the weight classes and who actually wrestles at a particular weight. It is a little early to talk about individual state champions, but I would watch out for the Islanders as a team; they just placed third as a team at the midwest classic in Ohio (minus 4 weight classes), and they came home with three 2nd, four 3rd, and two 4th place individual medals.

What happened to Poquoson Friday- looks like they got beat pretty bad.

Is Hermitage a great team or did Poq. have a bad night?

capthawk, first understand that in AA Ryan Jackson is probably not going to wrestle this year because of surgery from football, and a full ride to Liberty University, leaving the HWT pretty open this year. Second Nick Cook will win states, but as already pointed out that's for AAA. Pay attention to what you're posting on seeing as how this is a BRD column. It'll save you a lot of time falling suspect to people. A good rule to live by is "it's better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth (or in your case type) and remove all doubt"

gman403us... i think that although we are from the BRD and we like to think alot of our guys will win states, then chances are slim. I do think that the BRD will have alot of State placers, no doubt. i also beleive we will have alot of top 4 placers but i'm not to confident in the fact of the bay rivers having too many champs. remember, Christiansburg is still AA and although the scout, they still are a good team. but best luck to all BRD wrestlers and i hope i can be proved wrong.
