In the defense of Grafton, I would like to say that they are still contenders for districts. They have lost a few games recently, but look at their football program. They lost their first three games and then came back to win the next seven. Grafton baseball has the talent to win out the rest of the games this season. I just wanted to say that since everyone seems to be dogging Grafton on here when it could turn around and bite you in the butt. Just because they are in a small slump doesn't mean they won't come out and hit you hard the next time they play you. Just a word of advice: Don't talk trash about contending teams.

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH AHA...HA HA. Name one male sport that grafton has dominated this year. I dont follow girls sports so i dont know if they do good there. What is graftons record, 2-4 2-3 3-3 i would not call a 500 or a under 500 team contenders. :help: is what grafton needs. O wait one more thing, i believe if tabb beats grafton when they play at tabb, tabb will complete their sweep of all major boys sports.
Have a nice day.

You know it is true Grafton may come back and win the whole district. All I have to say about that is Grafton~ u have talked more **** talk than any other team in the district and now you can't take the critisim you are getting. You reap what you sow. You knew it would happen. Take it, move on and start winning.

The season is not even half way through yet. Grafton still has to play everyone at least one more time if not twice. I am not saying they will sweep the district. I am saying that they have the talent to win out the rest of the games.

Grafton has a talented team. And I agree that they have the potential to win out.
I would not make too much of Grafton's lossess at Denbigh and Bethel. They were in each game til the end...in fact, one play was the difference between victory and defeat.
I just don't think that they have found their chemistry yet.
Do I think they will win the BRD regular season....no?
Do I think that they will finish in the top three and move into the state tourney,,,,yes. But they will have to beat Smithfield, Poqouson, & York over the next 10 days.

I think Grafton will finish in the top five. I think it will be
1. Tabb
2. Poq
3 York
4. Smithfield
5. Grafton
What does everyone think?

I think Grafton over Smithfield.
I believe the standing will turn out to be Tabb, Poquoson, York, Grafton, and then Smithfield.

1. Tabb
T2. Poquoson, York, Smithfield, Grafton
Tabb is clearly the favorite but the other top 4 teams are all very good and can beat anyone on any given day. It is going to be a tough fight for the 2nd and 3rd slots. The next week and a half will set up a great 2nd half showdown as all the teams try to position themselves for post-season play. Look at the last few games of the season and the matchups are Grafton/York, Grafton/Smithfield, Poquoson/York, and Poquoson/Smithfield. I wouldn't be suprised if all four teams were tied going into these last few games to set up a thrilling BRD finish.

your honesty in admiting tabb's supremacy in all aspects of the game is appreciated. It's hard to admit that they are way better than your team, but it's obvious so... I guess it wasn't that hard actually.:whoo:

It's somewhat true... what chad is starting to throw has similar spin like the gyro, but definitly has more movement. It appears as if it is moving left to right to left all before it hits the plate, but really it hasn't moved horizontally but is dropping about 6 inches right before it reaches the plate. This throws off the hitter emensly, but chad hasn't been allowed to unleash in games is what I hear. I think one more week and he should be throwing it 20-25 times a game.:thumb:
Another thing on the note of baseball...
Reports have come out that a couple of scouts were sent by grafton to watch tabb's practices and steal signs and gameplans:peep:. With this said, does anyone else think that this is unfair?

Grafton has used this tactic effectively already as evidenced by their victory over Lafayette 8-0 today
