Seems like it's way too early to tell. Halverson and Addie Williams would appear to have the inside track at the moment, but Falin and Page Turner are among several others with the potential to attract consideration.

It's not going to be easy because it looks like the district race is going to be a three-way battle that should go right to the final week.

yeah i see what youre syaing. with lafayette overachieving with what the have, and addie williams carrying the team, i would think it would have to be her at this point. especially if the lafayette girls win the district

Well, if Addie Williams is carrying her team that's cool and all, but for Poquoson all of the players are doing well so there is no chance for Halverson, Turner or any of the other players to be carrying their teammates. They are all good. I'm not saying that anybody is better than, or worse than anybody else, but if the rest of your team is not doing as well and you are having to carry them then you are going to look better than someone on a team where all the members are doing well.

Also, I believe I read that right now Halverson has the highest average points per game, with 17.8 average ppg. If this info is old or outdated then I'm sorry:sorry: for the mistake,:o but that was the most recent info that I saw when I was looking.

That may just be my opinion, but that is what I believe.:)

Honestly? There are more players in the district than just Williams and Halverson. Other players carry their teams. Look at the stats, Falin pulls Bruton's weight, Urquhart carrying Southampton, Hampton scoring for York, William-Hayes scoring mos tof the points and making key plays for Grafton... I just think that the District is too close this year for people to already be singling a specific player. As for the Tuesday matchup, poquoson should win if they can shut Williams down, if Williams isnt in, lafayettes number one position wont be there for long.
