Poquoson stood second after the first day of the Colon E. Baker tournament at Great Bridge in Chesapeake. The Islanders stood second to Great Bridge among 16 teams -- including Great Bridge's "B" squad.

The Wildcats' "A" team was in front with 150.5 points, followed by the Islanders with 131.5, Kempsville with 119.5, Hickory with 100.5 and Matoaca with 68.5.

Great Job Bulls. The BRD is being well represented this weekend. Along with Poqouson's performance New Kent currently holds first place in the Damascus Invitational in Maryland. There are 20 teams at their event. Great job Bulls and Trojans, way to represent!
