In a Denbigh Holiday Classic semifinal, Landstown hit a 3-pointer at the end of the third quarter to tie the score at 39, erasing Granby's 10-point lead. With about 30 seconds remaining and the Comets trailing by one, Dominique Williams scored a field goal with about 32 seconds left. Landstown missed three late shots to go ahead.
The Comets advanced into Saturday's 8:15 p.m. title game against Menchville. Landstown will face Varina for third place at 5:15.
