When the Trojans showed up at the Damascus Invitational folks were not real sure who these guys were. By the time they left everyone knew who they were and were hoping they did see them again anytime soon. The Trojans lead after the Friday matches and looked well on thier way to keeping the number one spot they had earned till injuries caused 2 NK wrestlers to withdraw from quarter final matches. Despite the loss of two wrestlers New Kent still was able to manage a 4th place finish. This was probably the toughest competition the Trojans had seen this year as thier were 18 Maryland teams with 11 state championships between them as well as over 30 wrestlers that placed 5th or higher in Maryland's state tournament last year. New Kent had 9 wrestlers that medaled during the tournament. Great Job by the Trojans.
