HAMPTON -- Hampton recorded three pins, but lost five straight bouts to start the match as Western Branch won the Black & Blue championship bout 41-21 Saturday night at the Hampton Coliseum.
Will Everett (103) pinned Hampton's Chauncey Foster in 45 seconds to begin the match. Sal Leonardi (135) recorded Hampton's first win, a pin over Rashawn Barr in 2:32.
Nick Sapp (152) pinned Zack Grymes to help Hampton close to 25-18, but the next four bouts went the Bruins' way.
Anthony Battle won the heavyweight match over Dwayen Cuffee in a 3-1 decision.
