Most Peninsula District and Bay Rivers District basketball teams have played two-thirds of their schedules by now, and with fewer than three weeks remaining until the start of the district tournaments, those teams are jockeying for postseason positions.
Here are quick looks are the boys and girls races in those two districts ... the must-see games, the bubble teams for the district tournaments, the individual scoring races and the regular-season championship races.
The latter is important since the regular-season champ gets an automatic berth into the regional tournaments.
