I know the season's only halfway over, but I was thinking about the talent the BRD has and I was wondering what an allstar team would look like. Maybe compile six outfielders, two players from each infield position, and about three or four pitchers. I know it's basically the same as first team all district, but this one is compiled by the players not the coaches. So any names to throw out there to fill these slots?

That's a good exercise. One word of caution, though. Just because somebody picks a player you don't like, do not run him down here. Just list who you would pick at that position and say why.

Here's an all-star team for you:

Ok tomatoe we all know tabb is very good, but lets not cross the line. I mean theres probably about two other players we could throw on thier team to make the all-star team, you can debate who they will be but for the most part Tabb with maybe 2 or 3 additions really could be quite an all-star team.:yo:

Does anyone have any serious suggestions? Yes, Tabb is good. But not every one on that team is good enough for an "all-star" team.

Ok. Maybe it was too early. Or maybe the Tabb players/fans are too immature to give valid answers of players without joking around. I'll try this post again in a couple weeks towards the end of the season.

With the game Lamb threw the other day, some consider him the best in th BRD

I know I'm probably biased because I play for Tabb, but I think Chad Guy might give Will a run for the best in the BRD. I'm not discrediting Lamb though, he is definately one of the best in the district (maybe even the best).

That will be a good game. I hope to try to make it out there atleast for some of it. It will come down to far more than pitching in this game. I think pitching is probably pretty equal. From what I hear The Grafton/York game was equal in pitching with Lamb having a few more strikeouts. I heard Tillman struckout Yorks best hitters too. This game will come down to the bats, defense, and pitching. Both seem to have a lot of talent and chemstry!! :fencing:

Tabb has solid hitting all the way through the lineup. Our number eight batter is batting above 500. The one thing I think we lack is consistent defense. One day we will all look like golden glove winners and another day we could like the bad news bears out there. Now I know York is pretty good at hitting. I'm thinking that the game is going to come down to defense. Both teams have solid pitching. Both teams can hit. And both teams can play defense, but I'm saying whoever has the fewest errors will come out on top.

It is going to be a great game......a lot of people are going to be there.....both teams should play well

i find it funny when people talk about the best pitching in the district. chad guy is good and so is lamb. but crocket from poq is pretty good also and graftons kyle pelchy and tillman are pretty good too. tillman shut down denbigh (untill they put a relief pitcher in and cost them the game) and pelchy had a no hitter goin into the 6th inning vs bethel. for the top 5 pitchers in the district i would have ot say 1. pelchy 2. lamb 3. guy 4. tillman 5. crocket. there prob someone else that could be number 5 but the other 4 are the top for you could debate the order. lamb some does is unhittable but htan others he is just a good pitcher. that goes wit guy to he does not throw hard but he has like 5 pitches and hits his spots very well.

I couldnt understand the last part of that post at all and half the words are mispelled... so im going to guess that "Leaveitonthefield" is Tillman.

I think he is saying to some .....Lamb is unhittable (the best), and to others he is just good but not unhittable. I also think he is saying that Tillman and Pelchy would have won the games against Denbigh and Bethal and the replacement pitcher (from their team) ruined it. Not sure though. Last I checked it took nine people to win or lose a game. Never call out your own players if that is what your doing 'Leaveitonthefield' Maybe not.......but that is what I am getting from the post.

So you are saying lamb is both hittable and unhittable at the same time. That is physically impossible. He is either one or the other, makes no sense. You are also saying it was Tillman's fault for losing against Denbeigh:confused:

Theres a spell check in the top right, maybe try that next time...actually it usually doesnt pick up totally incoherent sentence fragments so scratch that....just get your mom to proof read

There is a spell check. If i knew that then i would have used it. I remember in thhird grade i didnt use a spell check and i completely mispelled pretty much every word. The next year when my family finally bought a computer i learned of the new technology. On my next paper not a single word was spelled wrong. I have spell check to thanl for that. So as i was saying

no this aint tillman. and im not calling anyone out. the momentum changed in the denbigh game when we switched pitchers and bayse just didnt have it that day but he usually does. and your right it does take 9 players to win a game so i didnt mean to put the blame on him cuz he also had a couple nice hits that game to. also what im talkin about lamb is some days he can b unhittable. than other days he is not. he aint consistently dominate.

The took Tillman out cause it was 4-2 and he had just given up 2 line-drive base hits to the number 8 and 9 batters and there were runners on 1st and 3rd with the top of the order coming up. Tillman threw a great game but he was starting to get hit hard and when Bayse came in he couldnt find the strike zone. I think if they would have left Tillman in it might have been worse than just 6-4
