Both playoff games, in case of a three-way tie, will be at Warhill.

If a three-way playoff is needed to decide the top seed for next week’s Bay Rivers District girls basketball tournament, the games will be played on Friday and Saturday at Warhill High.
The playoff will be needed if Lafayette, Bruton and Poquoson finish at 16-4. Lafayette has completed its regular season with a 16-4 mark, while Bruton and Poquoson can move to 16-4 by winning Thursday night.
Lafayette and Poquoson then would meet at 7 p.m. Friday at Warhill. The winner would play Bruton at 7 p.m. on Saturday at Warhill.
Saturday’s winner would be the No. 1 seed in the district tournament and will advance to the Region I tournament, along with Saturday’s loser. The district tournament will determine the Bay Rivers’ third representative into the Region I tournament.
Should only one other team tie Lafayette for the district regular-season title, a one-game playoff at 7 p.m. Friday at Warhill will decide the top seed in the district tournament. Both teams would advance to the regional.
