If the game ends in a tie... is there a tie breaker? I see that MHS-BHS went to overtime but a few games last friday ended in a tie... What is the deal with ties? Just a question

2 five minute overtimes, then the game ends in a tie.

Do the PD/BRD coaches have influence on the scoring for soccer games? If so, would they be able to initiate a motion for modification of the scoring system (if they desired?).
I would like to see the losing overtime team get one point and the winning team (when there is one) get two or three points. It is not representative of a overtime losing team's performance when they are not awarded a single point.
What are other thoughts about this?

I agree, there should be some reward for pushing the game to overtime. 1 point for the loser and 3 points for the winner. It would surely make for an interesting points race.
