woodside @ denbigh @ 4

through woodsides two non district games they have surprised me their hitting has been a 100% improvement from last season and their defense has been a turn around as well imma go with woodside on this one 6 - 2

How did Hampton and Gloucester look?

HHS and GHS...it was a pretty good game but Hampton allowed Glouster to stay in it..Hampton could have easily won bigger despite 2 freshman errors at third..Hampton seems to be using small ball as usually, and it continues to work..

Yea, we predicted that from the beggining, didn't expect hampton to be in a bunch of shootouts, but it could happen, big bats might wake up outta little guys any time.

Hey schemes,
What game were you watching? Gloucester almost doubled Hampton's hit output, left numerous runners on base, made some key mistakes in the 3rd inning and got hosed on a call at the plate in the top of the 7th. I'd say Gloucester kept Hampton in it. Hampton did do what it needed to do to win though which is why they are tough.

I think Gloucester only scored one earned run, the homerun in the third. But, it was still a very exciting game to watch! Both teams put on a good show.
