GHS - 3, KHS - 2 8 innings great game. Both pitchers great defensively both teams great defensively. 1 error could have made the game go the other way in 7.

Kiser tripled in the 2nd inning for ghs and scored on a single . khs responded with a lead off triple in 5th by freshman Ashley Nichols and scored. 2 errors by khs in the 6th plated a run for ghs. khs lead of the 7th with a walk and a single by Daily moved the runner to 3rd. The throw to 3rd was misplayed and the run scored. In the 8th khs had 2 runners on with 2 out. when Alexander hit a shot back at Coates. It deflected off of her leg towards 2nd base. Coates recovered to make the play at 1st for the final out. ghs lead off the bootom of the 8th with a base hit and was sacrificed. Coates hit it up the middle and that was the ballgame.

2 in a row to Warwick and Gloucester both by just 1 run. Looks like they could be 2 - 0 without a couple of miscues. It is still early we will not give up on them yet. I'll bet no one else is.

Great game between GHS and KHS. I thought Alexander pitched great and Coates did well but you see Coates is very hittable you just have to be patient. The freshmen Nichols is very impressive early in her first varsity season. The ball Alexander hit off of Coates . A inch here or there and that ball would of been up the middle maybe double bases. How many strikeouts were recorded by Alexander? The difference in the games between KHS and GHS and WHS and KHS is that KHS probably should of never of scored their 2 runs in either game from what I saw. I would think the runs were unearned on both Coates and Byrd.BUt great job KHS a run is a run no matter how you get it and Warwick is going to need to put a few on the board themselves. They better get their offense working early.

yea dude I thought the runs KHS scored against WHS & GHS were unearned too. I wonder how KHS scorekeeper recorded them. dude, Coates is human so of course she is hittable, but not often. you're lucky if you get a hit of Coates.

Kecougtan could never pull off beating Gloucester! Kecoughtan is too shakey on defense and don't have enough offense to complete the job! They always manage to lose it in the 6th inning. Kecoughtan does nothing but get your hopes up for nothing (nothing but a long foul ball (strike)). You can always expect to get beat Kecougtan by the 6th innning!
