Hampton defeated Denbigh 6-2 on the strength of Ryan Trimble's 3-hit complete game and a two run homer by Matt Shaffer in the top of the third inning. Shaffer and Trimble each had two RBI, Andy Allison added one. Matt Mitchell went 2-3 and scored three runs.
