This is the player that I always thought would make it in college. He was a competitor as well as the leader of Denbigh baseball. It's nice to see him be successful at the college level. The stats he has at UNCW are amazing , with a .000 era,17 innings pitched and only 7 hits, all singles, it looks he has a bright future. I agree, keep up the great work.

I can see why he has those stats UNCW. He came over to the regionals in '06 and '07 and shut our 21-2 teams down both years. When Denbigh lost the '06 game to FC, 2-1, he protected the outfielder by telling Toffer and the Berry brothers that the ball was in the lights and that's why the outfielder missed it. This kid is a class act and we had him in our "back yard" and ODU couldn't get him? My nephew goes to Coastal Carolina and said that Roth threw the ball by them , around the them and under them. His movement and velocity were working that night and he wasn't letting them touch the ball. I hope he keeps it up.

This is exactly what I have been talking about. Roth was under the tutelage of Rusty Ingram. The district lost one of its best coaches to the Bay Rivers. If a kid is a good pitcher, I recommend that they move to the Bethel zone and work with Brett Wheeler. He is the best coach the district has with regards to pitching.

The word from Coastal Carolina baseball today is " we don't want anymore of that lefty from Virginia ". This after Roth shut them down again last night for 2.2 inning of one hit, no run, relief. I was told it wasn't just his 91-93 mph fastball but the location of his pitches. He threw inside, at will, then threw a change, 79mph, on the outer half that kept the hitter off balance. These clocking were from the Coastal guns. My nephew said their, UNCW, hitters came alive and "crushed" the ball in the later innings to win the game. Great game and a gutty perfomance from a freshman out of the Eastern region of Virginia.

I looked at the stats this morning, 19 2/3 inning without an earn run is pretty darn amazing in the CAA conference. Great job Cameron. He looks like he could be Sizemore's brother. ( I had to get a Menchville connection in there some where, I'm catching grief about giving "props" to a Denbigh grad.)

Observer 3, just tell your Monarch friends that you aren't giving props to a Denbigh grad, you're giving props to former PD player....LOL! Maybe that'll ease their minds a bit!

WTF does that mean? I'm a SMITHFIELD PARENT that also happens to be a PD fan as well. What fugging BS are you referring to? I doled out kudos for a job well done, some others chimed in to offer congrats as well and now wowwow you deem that as BS. You must be genuinely jealous....call yourself The Franchise, see if you can feel better about yourself.

Sir ....... Let it go..
I'll let it go when I've choked the life out of it.....if you can't add anything positive to the frigging conversation keep your phat azz nose out of it....I'm almost ready to let go of it, as long as you're willing to keep your ridiculous comments to yourself. Here's what I think.....I think you can't frigging stand the fact that it's become perfectly obvious who the real leader of the Denbigh Patriots was last year. You're probably part of the same group that didn't believe that Cameron was worthy of the PD Player of the Year. So you.....YOU need to let it go!
