How would you play it?

There is 1 out bottom of the 7th inning your team is up by one or tied, your opponent has a runner on 2nd and 3rd. The batter hits a long foul ball to the right field side. What does the fielder do?

a) Catch the ball
b) let the ball go

dude, you let the ball go because if the rightfielder catches the foul ball, the runner tags up and the run scores. :confused:

With a smart outfielder, smart runner and a smart base coach I would hope that my player would let it fall foul. But you will rarely have all three. Some coaches and players may not realize that you can tag on a foul ball. Not wanting to take that chance I would hope my fielder would let it fall if she doesn't think she has the angle to throw the player out at home.
