Super Tuesday (and Tax Day)! This should be a great night of soccer and set the stage for some really big games to come. As far as predictions go, I'll take Tabb 4- Jamestown 1; and Grafton 4- Lafayette- 1. I think Betoney and Christein will conintue to push the ball forward and provide muliple opportunities for shots on goal while Kienle and the defense shut down any attempt to organize an offensive play from Jamestown. I also think the same holds true for Grafton and Lafayette. Grafton's mid-field will control the tempo of the game and take advantage of the opportunities as they occur.

Big Tuesday is RIGHT!

goals for/goals against
Jamestown: 14 / 4

Tabb: 33 / 3

Grafton: 54 / 6

Lafayette: 17 / 1

Grafton: Has not been shooting on an All BRD goalie (Addie)... yet.

Lafayette: Has not played much competition yet

Jamestown: Looked sharp against Grafton in a close loss

Tabb: Has a good win over Oceanlake early, and has not had much competition yet...

So YEA! BIG TUESDAY! And I wish I could be in both places at one time, too.

Well!

The BRD is really off and runing now!

The four most discussed teams got to play.

Jamestown came out strong early, pushing the play into Tabb's end of the field for an eternity.... but were unable to really threaten for a score!

Tabb's defense bent but did not break.

Jamestown won most of the 50/50's, outhustling the Lady Tigers in the first half. The half ended with a 0-0 tie.

Tabb improved its' individual effort in the second half by picking up the competition...getting to the open areas and balls with greater frequency.

BOTH goalies got hit without calls, and BOTH were hit with Referee intervention with change of ball possession calls, too.

BOTH teams had qustionable "take downs" in each others' box with NO CALLS, both appropriately so.

Both goalies played hard with 6 - 8 saves each...Tabb's goalie came out on top this time. Good efforts ladie goalies.

I heard Lafayette dominated Grafton in their contest. But I did not see the match.

Tabb and Jamestown played a very competitive match, great fun to watch....but no "domination" occured from either team. The first half was Jamestowns on effort. The second half was Tabb's.

The score represented the overall effort for the match.

I look forward to seeing many more good clean competitive events like this one in the near future.

Good competition Tabb and Jamestown:clap2::clap2:
Go Big Tuesday!:clap2:
