If Sizemore hit a two-run homer in the first, and T Brown also hit a solo homer (3 runs), how did Jeff Gray get 2 RBI in a 4-run game?
Come on Menchville, nobody is going to believe a thing you say if you can't do the simple math. Yes, you're winning, can't take that away from you but you're robbing your players as well as the entire district of credibility.

Yeah i just looked at that didn't catch it at first but i hope they meant 2 runs but they're winning so we can't argue with that but its not right to pad the stats.

Probably never crossed your minds that it might have been an honest mistake on someone's part and not an attempt to alter the player's statistics.

You're right, it never crossed my mind. And it still hasn't.
It isn't that difficult to keep track of the RBI in a 4-run game.

I agree with you CoachA10 but Menchville has been doing this for years. You can take Menchville stats with a grain of salt. Throw it over your left shoulder. They have had a lot of good players come through their program but the stats are not credible. I am glad to see someone else agrees with the king.

How about Sizemore, kid is legit, no doubt. You cannot hide a two-run bomb or a "W" in the win column...good to see a local team up there in the AAA state standings.

I agree that Sizemore looks legit. I would like to see him against better day to day talent. He would size up pretty well in the Southeastern and Beach districts. The only difference is that those districts how numerous players like him. I think better competition would really help Menchville prepare for the postseason. Granby is not even a contender in the Eastern Region. You are right - a win is a win. It is all about the rings!

Of course it crossed your mind..that was the whole point of your post..unless this has a different meaning....

I am guessing you have a child on a team or coach a team that can't beat Menchville so you accuse the scorekeepers of cheating! Even scorekeepers make honest mistakes. The team is good so give them some credit!

It's always about you and the rings. How many do you have? Give it a rest already, you made your point! You hate the Mench, you got cut, no ride, no PT, no rings, no class.
Pumping gas is certainly a lucrative career, especially with the going rate of a gallon. Oh, I forgot you work at BK, you the head fry-guy yet? Tell the drive through to quit messin up my order. I know you have some clout with the King!

I'm not jealous parent or coach, nor am I accusing anyone of cheating, just lack of discipline and integrity.
Like I said, Menchville is winning and a very good team, why do they need to do the bush league stat padding? Let the on-field play speak for itself and quit cooking the books.

I do believe the on-field play is speaking for itself!

I can tell you first hand that the "so called" padding of the books is not going to make that big of a difference, you are making more out of it than needs to be. When scouts (minor league or college) come to see a kid, they know what they are looking for and will evaluate the kid during the games they watch. So if you show an extra hit or two that may have been off errors to pad a batting average, that's not going to make much difference if the kid cannot hit when the scout shows up.
I would have to agree with the other post about possible mistakes by the score keepers, I doubt both teams have the same books at the end of the game regardless of who is playing.
Bottom line; Menchville is the best team in the district (trust me, I am not a Menchville "homer" either) matter of fact a Denbigh guy, that purely hated that school when it came to sports back in my day...but I will give them props. I just talked to their coach and he said Sizemore signed with ODU. You do not sign with ODU if you cannot back it up....
Let me cut this off, I will save it for another topic.
