This game isn't that big sure it may be good, but who has woodside really faced? I'm not taking anything away from them they've done a great job, but they are still the same team from last year minus two key players. If Warwick gets there bats started in the first instead of waiting till the fifth it should be a victory for them, guess we'll have to wait and see.

I agree woodside has taken care of business against the teams that are suppose to be beaten, honestly i feel that warwick has a solid team and is solid at every position, and when they're bats are alive they are hands down the best team in this district, so i predict a good game and i predict the score to be around 7-3 warwick

IF Warwick this, IF Warwick that..geez..So I think i'm going to get on the IF bandwagon..IF Hoeffer and Andino do what they have been doing both offensively and defensively to their first six opponents, THEN, there may be an upset brewing in most peoples eyes. But hey, that's why they play the game, best of luck to both teams, should be a dandy tomorrow.

Warwick has a good team this year but they aren't the best team in the district. There are 3 other teams just as solid as they are...Woodside, Menchville, & Gloucester. All 4 of these teams are very competitive and could go either way at any game. Warwick has some great hitters but once you get through the first 4 hitters they aren't quite as strong. The team with the most solid lineup is Menchville. They don't have the power hitters that Warwick has, but everyone can hit. I would rather have 9 base hitters than 3 or 4 power hitters. Gloucester has the best pitching, hands down. Woodside has several good hitters through the line up too. I think the game between Woodside and Warwick will be a good one.

is it wrong for me to think that woodsides been riding kinda easy up until this point in their season? denbigh..hampton..heritage...phoebus...come on.

yes warwick takes a while to actually get in their zone, and their offense isnt looking quite as strong as we all expected but..

everyone knows that warwick gloucester and menchville are the power teams here, and i think woodside is being considered in that list only because of their record as of now, but what does that prove? that they can shut out some terrible teams? or that theyre actually a worthy solid team?

tomorrow we'll see.

Which Warwick team is going to show up Wednesday, the one that the parents say is sound at every position or the one the parents say has weak defenders at certain positions that is the only reason they lose to inferior teams?

I guess Wednesday's game will go a long way is answering the people who say Woodside has only beat the weaker teams in the district.

Dude, stop including Menchville in the top teams cause they are not. Are they better than Kecoughtan now because of the lucky game they had against Warwick? Didn't Kecoughtan beat them like 9-0. Menchville is not the most solid line up. They haven't even played GHS and WoHS. They will be 2 more loses for Menchville and how many hits did Heritage get against them? They lucked out against WaHS and now they are supposed to be one of the top contenders. :confused: don't kid yourself dude.

Now... let's be serious. Woodside will give up a run today. Warwick has not been shut out this season against great competition and they will not be shut out today so a score 5-0 is wishful thinking. No actually it's a 5-0 is a joke. The game will go in Warwick favor. WoHS have some talented young Wolerines that will dominated the PD next year, but this year will go to the veterans. I don't this game will be as close as people think it is, but we'll have to see. Warwick is still transitioning players to field their best defensive team so be expecting some surprising changes. Warwick bats will come alive today and win big.

Well Kecoughtan is now terrible, interesting. Woodside totally shut down Kecoughtan, yielding zero runs by not allowing a runner past second base, something Warwick was unable to do. And Menchville a power team, come on now.

The Warwick / Menchville game was not a lucky win for Menchville. Both teams played good but menchville played a little better. That happens when good teams play each other. anything can happen on any given day, dont know why the lady wolverines are hyping themselves up, they had a somewhat weak schedule, but alot of props to them for backing up their talk against kecoughtan and a few other teams who are distrct contenders

Well Menchville feels the same about their game against Warwick...they beat Warwick and it was a fair match. Its funny that everytime Warwick loses or plays bad you come on here making excuses. Accept the fact that they can be beat. Menchville also made some errors at the game too but they held it together. Not every team brings their A game everytime. Most years Warwick & Menchville have split their wins and loses so its not a miracle that Menchville won as you act like it is. Its just ridiculous that all these excuses are made for their loss and the game is called a fluke. Menchville played good and they deserve the win and got it! Thats all that matters! A win is a win! The game is over so let it go. Warwick has another chance to bring their A game.
Warwick barely beat Gloucester..but the point is they did! I didn't see Gloucester getting on here making excuses like you all do. They accepted the loss and will be ready when you play them again!

I think it would be nice if one day these teams would get on here and actually support each other instead of tearing each other down. The PD has always had some strong teams and like whsoutfielder said anything can happen on any given day. Warwick, Gloucester, Menchville & Woodside are all competitive with each other this year. Any of these teams can beat each other at any time. I have watched each of these teams play this year and can't see that any of them are dominant over the others. Every team has its strong and weak points. Good luck to all teams the remainder of the season!

Well, the game is over an done with, and it was Woodside 1-0. The shut outs remain, and Warwick has two losses. No big deal. Both teams brought it today, and props to Warwick for their good sportsmanship and they played an incredible game.
