Woodside 10 - 1 over Heritage

Not much to say about it... besides heritage getting a bunch of cards and getting too physical and fouling. Several times there could have been more pks called but the refs stopped calling them cause of the score.. Heritage got a goal after woodsides starting keeper got kicking in head for the second game in a row and came out. Not much too say besides woodside playing subs and then Dropping off a few players.

I think both mendonca and hopkins had hat tricks in the first half. So what about the other games

MHS beat KHS 3-1 in overtime...third goal was given up as KHS pushed to tie...all i know...

this opens the door for Warwick...which will have KHS as their biggest fan for the game against MHS

One of the best games in a long time happened today. Amazing. 1-1 OT 3-1. MHS saved some shots that should of probably gone in but wow. Amazing game.

It was a very very good game to watch..very intense..some nice stuff by both teams. But, I think KHS controlled more of the game no doubt..until OT. MHS came out in OT and PLAYED.

wow.... what a surprise... bethel plays to a tie.. thats like their 5th tie because they don't try to win games... that says alot about gloucester... maybe they arent as good as everyone thinks...

well it's not what all of you guys think
i was watching steve kinney ref this game to see how he gets it done but i must admit i watched the game not him
bethel had maybe 70-75% possession for the game and beautiful shots from 25 out they just couldn't put any on frame
also they worked the ball around them most of the time so i guess maybe it was just this game where they didn't play "kickball" or everyone just thinks that
well i take that back on the on frame part, one of the africans put it on the frame but not past

Great game!!! Who ever made that save on Karl's kick showed an amazing effort. That play made the difference in the game. That's the kind of play most players just give up on.

It appeared that Kecoughtan controlled the majority of regulation time and had more missed opportunities to score. But I tell you what, Menchville may have won, but they had to work their butts off to get that win.....hats off to them, but I think they underestimated KHS"s desire. Should be a great rematch in districts.

It should be. I think the KHS boys aren't too happy with that loss. They had the game in their hands and just didn't put them away. MHS hung in there and fought, which paid off in the end. Great game.

I was wondering what that call was. Busy this morning but will post the build up (obstruction?) and the goals later today. IMHO MHS full defense gets the game ball, at least three maybe more saves at the net by field players on top of three quality keeper saves!

Great game, tough loss for the green side. Good news is that as a team, there is much room to grow - take em there coach. High marks for keeping to your guns and enforcing the sit out the rest of the half with a card, but notice what sets up the first overtime goal. The entire KHS team needs to trust each other.

The entire KHS team needs to trust each other.

I totally agree. I think it's one thing that MHS has over KHS in that they trust each other and get each other involved. Hopefully KHS learns that valuable lesson. But I fear that it falls on deaf ears for certain individuals.
