Great Morning!:)
The Lady Dukes finally put 3/4 of a game together yesterday defeating Menchville 3-0 at Menchville.:clap2:

Goals: Milks 1, Cogan 1, Kearsey 1
Assist. Gogan 1, Overbay 1

Observations thus far:

Caitlyn Richmond had hustled every game this season, steps to the ball, takes the hits and is becoming more and more vocal, way to step up Red.
Shelly MIlks, another hustle, physical game, keep playing hard.

Mary Cogan, seems to be around the ball and playing hard, one of the no names on the program but stepping up.

Haley Overbay, leadership personafied..plays hard, steps to the ball...keep those elbows down.

Courtney Collier, leader on defence, able to chase balls and opposing players down and shut them down, great game yesterday.

Chelsea Guy, another defensive player who is physical and ready to take one for the team, keep playing tuff.

Alissa Hester, a great move to defence from goalie, plays 100% all the time and is able to react after a mistake and make up for it.

Emily Coleman, went for a header yesterday, out of the box and just leveled another player, it has been fun watching this young goalie mature in the net this season, Keep it up "M".

Helen Roundy, another senior who is starting to step up her game, keep positve and finishing to the ball.

Elizabeth Drake, starting to losen up and play soccer, she will be one to watch in the future, head down ED.

J. Kearsey, Caitlyn Cullen, Jenn., Brittany, Heather, the rest of the bench and subs, great job coming in and playing hard, this team needs that effort every game.

Lindsay Snavely, Caitlyn Reynolds each made an appearance yesterday, Snavely did not look 100% and may have reinjured her thigh, Reynolds was asked to leave the game as she did not have a sleave on her knee brace, looked about 90% ready to go.

Go LAdy Dukes, Beat Warwick, one game at a time Ladies.....Friday will be here soon enough.:clap2:

I think it's a little harsh to call Cogan a "no name"...

But yeah, the Gloucester girls are strong again this year. I haven't managed to see an entire game (sorry, Caitlin), but from what I have seen, they have incredible skills and determination.

Was not intended as being harsh on Cogan, this is not a name that people usually throw around when talking about Gloucester Soccer. She has scored in all but two games and has had an assist in all but one game, I think.......she is one of the players that as a senior just has not been recognized for her efforts yet....that is all I meant by "no name".
