Any thoughts on how this game will play out? Tabb seemed to come out of the mid-season slumber during Senior Night against York. York played them tight in the first half and with Amanda Burrios back, I thought this game would be closer. She got off some awesome shots and Wallace made some great saves. Tabb's passing and through balls were the key in the second half. Begansky and Mills really work will together up front and the mids did a great job of setting them up. It was fun to watch Kienle and Burrious go at each other since they've known each other since they were young pups. I'm glad Tabb (and other teams) have had some time to heal. Tabb and Bruton have a history of playing physical, clean games so let's hope everyone stays healthy and the refs (BTW, did you know I'm a grade 8 certified ref ) call a good game.
Good luck to both squads!!
dont think it will be close.

It was Begansky and Peebles who played up top for most of the game. Mills didn't play foward, she played outside mid to make up for some missing players.
And Amanda's last name is Berrios.

I was dissapointed that Mr. Martinez was not announcing that night : (
besides that...one player does not make the team...
unless you had superman... he moves around rather fast...

Hey, I though I did a pretty good job of announcing and since I've known most of Tabb's seniors since they we knee high to a grass hopper, I felt is was an honor and alot of fun. You right about one person not making a team and as I've said all through the season, this team has talent everywhere and it shows. There may be some confusion about playing forward, playing up, pushing up so let me clarify. Playing up or pushng up can be accomplished by anyone (even Anne) regardless of position. That night against York, Begansky and Mills were clicking on one side which to me meant Coach Sharp was exploiting a weakness he saw in York. We did have girls missing and Amanda Berrios (pronounced burr-ee-os) was back and playing well. Great job defense!! Play well and have fun tonight.
