With the Bay Rivers District Outdoor Track Championships being only a week away, which school is favored (based on performances this spring) to win the team title and who are the athletes favored to win individual titles?

I would have to do more analysis to answer your question fully. Right now, however, the depth of Jamestown in both the boys and girls is overwhelming. However, Grafton has quite of few #1s and #2s in the BRD that will shake the BRD. Of note, Michelle Speede in the 100, 200, 400, and long jump; Lorenzo Sheppard in the 110m and 300m hurdles; David Gunnerson in the 800m; Danny Sitton in the high jump; and Cameron Askew in the 100m, 200m, and 400m. Each of these student-athletes have qualified to state and Michelle and Lorenzo have qualified to the Nike Outdoor Nationals in the Emerging Elite class of their respective events.
