Ellington's curve ball is pretty sick

So is Delk's, Sizemore's,and Chrismon's

Are you kidding me?

No offense to the young man, but Ellingtons curveball is anything but nasty. I would define it as, inconsistent, wild, with a minimal break to it.

Best Fastball - Carter, Armstead

Best Slider / Cutter - Carter, Not sure if anybody else throws one. If so, let us know.

Best Curveball - Shively, Chrismon

Best Changeup - Shaffer, Carter

Agree with most, except one: When Josh Gardners curve is working, it is sick nasty, Shively/Gardner

This is only one game, but Josh Garner (Kecoughtan) pitched a very good game against Hampton Tuesday. He kept the ball down and forced a lot of ground balls, resulting in a low score. He pitched a six-hit complete game for a 3-0 loss. He had one strikeout, 3 walks and a hit batter. I was impressed.

where is zapf on anyones curveball list that thing is crazy ive seen a few times this year the batter would move out of the way before it curved because they thought it would hit them but it ended up curving into the zone for a strike. in my opinion he is one of the better pitchers in the district no he doesnt throw too hard but he throws 79-81 and his accuracy stamina and consistancy is outstanding. his curveball is on point! and his changeup is fooling as well.

haha yeaaa pher's curve is nasty

i dunno im just saying zapf is unique in PD pitching there are alot of great pitchers but alot of them are inconsisent and WILD like ellington for example GREAT pitcher throws hard its just he has little control zapf rarely throws a wild ball and rarely walks batters ya he has his games where he walks a few the other day at warwick wasnt his best lol but everybody has off games. if i wanted a pitcher that can win games and throw strikes the whole game even after 100+ pitches zapf is the man.

Zapf is hardly unique or "the man" To be unique you have to bring something to the table that noone else can. Facts are, he does not throw overly hard, and his curveball is only decent. When it comes down to it, "the man" was falt out outpitched by McCan twice this year.

unique as is in accuracy and consistancy and stamina i never said anything about zapf being "the man" i said when it comes to throwing strikes after 100+ pitches he is the man you were quoting me as if i was stating zapf is the best pitcher in the district which hes not but he is one of the better pitchers and i wouldnt say mccan outpitched him twice but warwick did out play woodside ONCE. and its funny how woodside hit 3 HR's on yalls field not to mention 2 of them were hit after only 3 total pitches thrown lol and zapf didnt give yall any...

and dont get me wrong McCan has a great GREAT curve but from what ive seen thats all he can throw
