HRVarsity.com changes
Some time late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning, we are going to change the front-page look of HRVarsity.com
Instead of the traditional front page you're looking at now, the HRVarsity.com front page will look like this:
http://www.dailypress.com/sports/highschool/
No content, I repeat, no content will be lost. Forums will still exist. So will the photo galleries and the stories written by our staff.
On the right side of the page is the HRVarsity logo. Under it are links to the photo galleries and the forums.
In the middle of the page are icons of a scoreboard, standings and our recruiting columnists.
If you click on the scoreboard icon, it will take you to the daily scoreboard. From there you can access that day's scores or scores from any other day.
If you click on the standings icon, you'll be able to see standings for various districts and leagues.
If you click on the photo of Jason Jordan and Norm Wood, you'll be able to read their recruiting columns, which appear each Sunday in the Daily Press. Eventually, they will share that space with a recruiting database where we will list athletes from this area who have committed to play sports in college and athletes who have committed to play sports at the state colleges and universities.
Below the Jordan-Wood photo are links to lists of recent sport-specific stories. Click, for example, on boys soccer and you'll see a list of boys soccer stories that have been written over the last few weeks.
