K.C. Judkins (10-0) pitched a four-hit shutout and drove in three runs as Hampton Christian beat Miller School 8-0 at the Petersburg Sports Complex to advance to the Virginia Independent Schools Division II final.
Hampton Christian will play for the title at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Petersburg against the winner of Friday's game between Steward and Greenbrier Christian.
The Warriors (26-2) set a single-season victory record after posting 25 in each of the past two seasons. Jake Cave hit a solo home run in the first inning and a three-run double in the fourth, and Judkins was 3-for-4 and struck out nine. Austin Bennett added a hit and a run, and Jordan Arthur had a hit.
Michael Walker took the loss from Miller, located near Charlottesville.
