At an American Legion tournament at VMI, Williamsburg Post 39 (4-1) defeated Orange Post 156 9-3 in the first of two round-robin games Saturday. Mark Montgomery (1-0) picked up the win and added two runs and three RBI. Williamsburg, which scored four runs in the fifth and four more in the sixth, also received help from Drew Grimes (one run, two RBI) and Ryan Fleischmann (two doubles, two runs).
