Colleges taking note of Tabb pitchers
By Jason Jordan|247-4648
Tabb High pitchers Cody Brown and Adam McConnell are starting to receive interest from colleges and Tigers’ coach Doug Baggett feels like it’s only the beginning for his pair of juniors.
"Usually there’s not a whole lot of talk for juniors," Baggett said. "But this year it has been. Maryland is very interested in Adam and Richmond is too. A lot of the same schools are interested in Cody."
Baggett expects that as the season winds down his phone will get even busier.
"They are both legit," Baggett said. "They’re both big prospects based on their arm speed. They both throw in the 85-MPH range. That’s pretty good. Things will pick up for them even more from here on out."
