Becouvarakis ran alone for most of the race, picking up his second consecutive victory at Mariner's. Warwick had 2 hard workouts on Monday and Tuesday, so the times were a bit slow. I'll trade a few seconds or minutes in a September dual meet for an October 23rd peak any day.

8th-grader Eliza Lavery scored her 3rd win in 5 races (v. Denbigh, Bill McGough JV race, today), running 22:21 on a tough course in high winds. Warwick's varsity girls did not have enough runners to score (3 varsity runners, 2 JV), so Heritage picked up the 15-50 shutout.
